Why? Why not.
My tennis clothes
I started from creating my own logo with Adobe Illustrator.
I decided to create two designs and use two materials from different suppliers.
I tried to come up with some ideas by myself but I realized the result was not great because it is very difficult to adapt the design to the sleeves and seams. Because of this I found online a person in India specialized in this and we continued working together from that point.
These shirts have the first design that I sent to a Chinese sport-clothes company (I chose a particular light sport fabric) .
These shirts have instead the second design and they were produced by a Pakistani supplier. I tried a different manufacturer because I was curious to see if I was able to create something cheaper with still a decent quality.
I thought it was cool to have a brand on the sleeve so I decided to put the logo of my brother’s just-established company.
For the shipping, since the total weight was high, I contacted a Chinese company specialized in logistics and shipping for high volume/weight packages. We reached an agreement on the shipping through an Amazon Hub in the North of Italy. In this way I reduced the shipping cost because the package was shipped through ship and train with other packages in the same container directed to the same place.
I created shirts, short pants, tracksuits, caps and socks. It was a cool experience.
